Crowded neighborhoods, busy streets, Political and social stress make East Jerusalem
a stifling and sometimes hazardous environment for young children. The Israeli
Department of Education is (1200) CLASSROOMES shy of the actual rooms needed
to meet the staggering number of kids that will have nothing but streets to house them….
To Save the Children from the streets, from being used and abused and turned to
become the future slaves of terror and ignorance We the Jerusalem Consortium for
Research and Development (JCRD) An NGO (none governmental organization) for the
last five years has been working with kids in East Jerusalem in particular and Israel in
general to better the condition s of schools and kindergartens, so we started The
Jerusalem Kindergartens, with its bright and well-equipped classroom, open space for
outdoor play, and quiet location on the Biet- Haniena designed to serve the children
of East Jerusalem families. The kindergarten seeks to help children develop holistically,
attending to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Children come to the
kindergarten five days a week, from 7:30 am until 1 pm, and participate in a variety
of activities. Games, art projects, music, and other age-appropriate activities are part
of the daily schedule; field trips to local parks and zoos provide special opportunities
for the children to learn and travel. Kindergarten educators lead the children on
nature walks on the Mountains and Factories and teach them about proper nutrition
by encouraging healthy snacks and habits at the kindergarten.
The Jerusalem Kindergarten serves both Muslim and Christian families, giving
children from both religions an important opportunity to play together and become
acquainted from an early age. Parents participate in their children's education,
volunteering in the classroom and holding regular meetings with the kindergarten educators.
After a graduation ceremony marking the completion of their time at the Jerusalem
Kindergarten, children enroll in private and public schools throughout East Jerusalem.

see the high quality classes and programs anytime , we really look forward to
make our Kindergarten as an example for the high quality education for our
kids in Jerusalem and to make other Kindergartens around Jerusalem to serve
as much as we can .
We have Placed Cameras in the classes to make it possible for families to
see their kids anytime during study and make their notes.
